    Default dmx controlled DACS?

    Hi guys,
i had a fiesta.net dac and i was quite happy with that, now i sold it because laser business is going very low and i'd like to buy two separate dacs for my lasers, i have a chamsys console so i wanna control them by dmx.

i knwow there is moncha.net dac that has inbuilt SD card and dmx input control and i'm thinking to buy two of them.

looking on ebay i found this: http://www.ebay.it/itm/Easy-Laser-SD...-/300732984562
seems to be china crap.. anyone tested this?

do you know other dmx remote controllable dacs? don't want usb dacs i prefer to keep it ethernet or dmx+sd... normally club use

    thanks

the ebay looks weird, why does it say DMX output if it should be used to control the box? shouldn't there be DMX input instead?

You can get a DMX daughterboard for the FB3-SE that lets you control SD card playback via DMX

There is a DMX daughterboard available for the ether dream, however I'm not sure if the firmware supports SD card playback control via this interface yet.

Are just going to shoot beams, or do you want to do Graphics?
There are some showcards with buildt in beams and some minimal graphics on them. You will be able to controll this by DMX. OK for beams (notice: OK is below good) and useless for graphics. And only TTL.

Price is around 30USD i beleive, and a couple of hours mounting the thing into the projector.

Ask Winni at Goldenstar Lasers. I think they might have this, as they use a lot of them in theyr chaper lasers.

yep, i know them, but i think they're too limited...
i can't set brightness map, invert output etc... they are really cheap but probably is better to keep using a dac...

i'll think about it, probably i will take a moncha.net
