Seems a bit expensive... Here's the controller that CDBeam uses. It's half the cost, and it appears to have quite a few extra features:

Although you still need a relay (or better yet a power transistor like a 3055 in a T03 package) to actually switch the TEC on and off...

This is the unit that I use, been very happy with it and it is more than capable of driving big tec's no relay amperage limit.

I'm using my own simple TEC controller, also I have a smart bidirectional modification of this board

This controller works well with chinese TEC such as 12705, 12706, 12709, 12710...
    DC In - 10...14V
Output current up to 6A (7A peak)

I don't know. What a reasonable price for them , in your opinion?

ps: This is a PWM controller with a proportional-integral output characteristic

You may want to look into this PID controller from Banggood.com:

It's similar to the auberins unit above, but it's 1/3 the price...

This is relay based controller (on/off) I don't know why they called it as PID
