Yeah, I saw them on the ebay thread too, thought it deserved a re-post. It sure will be interesting to see what these things can do:-)
Myself and another member over on LPF with a spectrometer have samples coming to do testing on. 462nm should be an interesting bump from the 445nm diodes we are seeing now. Wish they were the 472nm 1.2W diodes but this will be interesting as well. Here is the datasheet.

462nm should be just about "right" for blue IMO. 457 DPSS has got to be the best match for blue I have seen. 462... I think we'll be in the ballpark!

This might need a new thread rather than posting under the "0.9W 475" titled thread ..
Looking at some quick numbers 462nm should appear ~2.5X brighter than 445.
