Actualy thats not bad prices $1700 retail for a set of 6800s
Not so sure about the eyemagics though .... quite a few ILDA members have had failures with those units and also big variations in performance
but cambridge stuff looks good prices
all the best .... KARL
PS... just read about the eyemagics on the site and they claim to be re-designed and all the new features are addressed problem areas that they used to have so i will reserve my judgement for a later date

I think the DT40pro's of Jian are good value.

I agree with Jimbo, DT-40 is a good scanner at a great price. www.onestoplasershop.com looks like the new NML. I heard that they changed thier name. I wonder why? I have made a few purchases from them in the past and was quite pleased with thier service. One time they sent me a wrong part and overnighted a replacement to me. They EMS scanners are pretty good, at least they were, can't speak for the new ones. I had the EMS-3080 and they were great. I ran them into the ground and they still worked just fine when I sold them.what would be a good upgrade?
David
where are the dt40 on there???

They don't sell them, you can go directly to the maker, jian725. Send him a pm and he should be able to hook you up. I think he has a website, but I don't have a link saved.where are the dt40 on there???

Here is the link http://www.dtelectronic.cn/production.asp?ArticleID=6
I agree they are a great value.

FYI, LIST prices straight from Cambridge are...
$1295 for the complete CT68k set
$1595 for the complete 6215H set
$1995 for the 60k 6215H set
The sets are described in this link.

Also the eyemagic systems costs a hair over a grand imported from greece, the list is sub $1000...
Yadda
I assume that includes amps
Are they Dealer list prices or Recomended retail .....
cos if they are the latter .... they certainly have dropped the prices since last looked at them ......
thats not bad £600 for a set of 6800s
thats the same that i paid for my widemoves 2 years ago and i looked at cambridge then and they were way over my budget ....
i guess competition from far distant lands benifits the end user
all the best .... Karl
