Question Windows 7 question: Print Screen

At work all our PC's have been replaced with shiny new ones with Windows 7 but in doing so they have taken away a handy little utility we used (in XP).
This was a utility that allowed you to send a screen print directly to your default printer by pressing Ctrl - Spacebar.

I'm trying to recreate this without installing any third party programs (no Admin access for us plebs) but this apparently simple task is proving to be anything but.
The "official" way is to use PrtScr, open MSPaint/Word etc., CTRL-V into it and then print from that application.
Mush less user friendly than CTRL-Spacebar.

I've had a little tickle with VB and even one or two batch files but no success.
Any PC Guru's out there that could shed a little light on my quest?

Can you not just install the utility under Win7? (or rather, get ICT to install the utility for you)

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    You Krazee man !!
Do you have any idea how paranoid big companies are about installing "any old software"!?
They've locked the PC's down so tight that we can't even change the Windows Background (well, most peeps can't anyway ..... ).
That's why I'm having to check out alternative ways of getting the original functionality back (plus if someone says I can't do something then I like to have a sneaky go at it anyways (except for watching 2 Girls One Cup, Buffo!! )).

Never before has a video started out so great and then go so wrong, so fast.

How did you get the utility on the XP machines if the policies lock them down?
Or have they only enforced policies since Win7?

Use the snipping tool built into win7 (type snipping in the start bar)

    Far better then print screen/paint

Aw, come on Rich. Grow a pair already! It's not that bad!

Besides - if you can make it through to the end without puking, then you know you're made of some very stern stuff. (That, or else you have a closet coprophagia fetish...)

    Far better for what?

The snipping tool merely captures a Window or part of the screen and allows you to save it as a pic or email it (you cannot print from it).

Presumably you are suggesting that, to save time, I "snip" a screenshot and then email it to myself so that I can then open it in another prog and finally print it.

Methinks ether you or I have lost the plot on this one, Matey.

Norty: It was included as part of the standard corporate suite on XP but I guess someone dropped the ball re: Windows 7, hence my Guerrilla tactics.
I could approach the help desk about it but that is absolutely positively the last step (although they have got a bit better since they were out-outsourced from India to Rumania).
