Day 1:
Received the item yesterday, a DY-868 RGB ILDA-compatible projector claiming to have 30kpps scanners.

Before even fully unpacking it you could tell this was shoddy workmanship, by the end of 10 minutes with it there were a couple of clearly obvious issues with quality.
1st sign of everything not being right - a random 2 inch wire snippet laying right on top of the unit.
2nd sign - upon gently pulling the power cord out of the box it literally tore in half.
3rd sign - it powers on and goes to auto or sound reactive mode just fine, but the beam is about 12-15 degrees off center to the right.
Posting exterior pictures today only, will post the guts either tomorrow or Saturday along with a test scan.
I'm currently planning to fix up any obvious issues with it that I can and verify that the cooling is adequate for the heat generated, need to grab my buddy's oscillator and test output at some point too. I would definitely appreciate any advice yall can give an enthusiast, still reading a lot of FAQs, software/hardware discussions & other material.
