That's a valid caveat, if you already have the pointer, you will need to adequately cool it by heatsinking it and blowing a fan over it. 100mW is big enough that in continuous duty modules, they are normally actively TEC cooled. A fan is sufficient as in your case you are not concerned with beam stability.

Did you try putting Vista in XP combality mode?
(Right click on exe, Propeties, Combality, XP)

    Or maybe its the driver?

    Update help?

What about Virtual PC, running a XP disto?
(Will probaly not work, when i think twice..)

Also there is some 2007 updates on:
    http://www.laserdesignstudio.de/?x=downloads

Could really use the pics, so the customer choose to buy it.

Did not buy any laser yet.
(I do sell 5-200mW lasers so that how i know them,
    the 100mw cost about $100)

If not i end up using a 100mW green laser pointer, cooler with heatsink+fan+some DIY blanking, can you recommended at good and cheap laser?

Beam stability seems pretty good with the 100mW laser(Have a startup time in about 30sec), but maybe not when powered on off quickly..?
    (Its a DPSS laser)

Anyone tryed to make a blanking mod to the Newwish lasers pointers, with good result?

Well maybe its best with a good laser from the start,
but it could be fun if my "crasy" laser pointer idea worked

Damn, I had it but can't find it. Try "LDSDemo"... This is a guess though. I'll try to find it when I get home later.
