lasercam can work stand alone.
not only does it work for real time performance, you can save the output as an ilda frame stream for use in any laser show package that has ilda import. here's a show i made with it.

Also interested in their LaserCam software and was wondering if that can work as a standalone or would I need LSX and/or it's hardware (DAC's) to be able to run it? Has anybody used it and can give a review?
Thanks
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
