    Hello everyone.

Ι had similar problems with laser show filming. I used a 12Mpixel photo-camera (Olympus VG110) for video which was damaged as shown in the photo (burned

pixels). Since then I put a barrier so that the laser can not hit directly at the camera as shown in the second photo. Shooting video with an older SONY-miniDV

camera was better (less artefacts, flickering and noise) but i don't know why. I tried to upload a video with laser beam show to You-Tube but the result was

catastrophic. The up-loaded video was totally different from the original. I don't know if You-Tube is processing the video. I had the same result when i tried to

process and enhance the video myself with vReveal-3 freeware. So the final conclusion for me: pay attention to beams and cameras (Fortunately Olympus

repaired mine in product warranty) and get help from a friend (photo/video hobbyist). I'me sure a lot of guys in photon-lexicon are specialised in both lasers

    and photo/video.

    Thank's for reading. Dimitris D.

The only thing you can do is force the camera to a lower ISO where it will have a longer exposure time per frame to blend in the shutter effect. The only other choice is to find a CCD based camera which is going to be very difficult. The last canon camera with a CCD was one of the little compacts and I dont even know if it did video.
