    I hate spam.

But I am glad it revived this thread because I have a question please.

I have a RIYA lite DAC with a USB connection. Would it be wise to extend the USB, or the DB12 connection? If its USB should I use a powered hub, and how long can I run the USB cord?

This is a single PC to single projector connection.

Extend the analogue signal. The only reason people extend the USB is to avoid having to run lots of analogue lines.

It's out of stock. Ebay's terms mean that it's cheaper for sellers to just put in silly price than stop the auction and relist when it's available again. I think those gigabit ones are about £450 new.

    I found this:

    http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/conten...nport-400-giga

As beautiful as it looks and with a price of 45 euro/55 dollar this could be to nice to be true!
Understanding from Norty this won't work because he tested something similar to this an couldn't get it working.

Still I have the urge to test it and see if I can get it working. The idea is so simple in some way it's sad that there is not something like this that works...
