I know 480mw is 4*120mw red diodes, but why this 480mw Module has 2 beams? is it 480mw?

Its seems that they combined 2 pairs of beams by a PBS. This means that when the PBS has shifted the second pair of beams that is entering the PBS on the side is not perfectly in allignment anymore.

Or they are using a knife edge and PBS arrangement. Up close, you will see the separate beams.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I thought my issue might have been blanking too, but after I made some adjustments in the software, it was clearly not the case. I think the key was seeing 'ghosts' on scanned images.

Manlie, the pictures of your red dot seem normal, but I can't tell if it's just washed in the pics. However, from what I remember my red looked like a single (wide) dot on the dichros, it didn't look like two distinct beams like in your pic. I didn't inspect it closely in the near or far field, but red really seams to be the cleanest for dots and shapes on my projector.
