Have to laugh the US English names for items.

It was evidently the European version of football (i.e. the correct one and not pretend Rugby).
But if it was real (as opposed to the "players" being fooled by an old man stumbling onto their pitch accompanied by a cameraman) and happened in the UK he would have promptly been sworn at most vociferously and physically assaulted.

Such is life in the great big racial smörgåsbord we call home........
