How did you combine the 4 * 200mw lasers ? lets see pics... come on
This model sell medialas, original output power 100mw 650nm * 4. I change chips for 4*200mw, this is the best red that I use.
I use pole cube to combine 2*200mw @650nm to get 400mw

I built 3 kind of full color laser using 650nm and 635 nm IŽll put more pictures

    Default red lasever flickering

I had a bit of an issue using the DC power supplies that came with them, so I replaced the three power supplies with a single 5V 20amp supply from Jameco: http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...61&pa=201961PS

Its quite a few amps overkill, but I also use it to power my shutter and a few other support circuits. And it cleared up the power problem I had.

    hi guys (and gals?)
My red lasever unit is occasionally flickering on and off ? anyone got any ideas why that might be. All 3 lasever units are mounted on the same 10mm baseplate and the green and blue are fine, so i'm assuming its not an earthing issue ? each uses its own 1 amp psu. Could it be a dodgy psu ?

i haven't yet tried to see if it flickers when connecting the modulation lead to the 5v supply, next thing to do.....I'll try switching the psu around also....

When it flickers, check to see if the red LED on the driver is turning on at all. I had this issue intermittenly with all three when they were in contact with each other. Which is why I replaced the three individual supplies with a single supply.

Hmm, if you are running these with a 5V 1A supply then you are amazing! Under normal operation my green laser pulls 4.5amps. I have not checked the other two lasers, I suspect the red is a bit less than the other two, but you should plan on at least a 5 amp draw per laser. Which is why I chose a 5V 20A supply.
