Thread: Wiring DT40Pro's - Help Please

    ok just been out to play again

    there is something wrong and i dont know what it is, they wont even play the ild test screen.

    heres a vid of a circle, my 15k played this perfect. i rotate the image in my software but as you can see it only moves the points not the whole image.

    what is wrong?

    Andy ...

    In that screen shot ...... the angle slider goes from 0 to 360 ... what happens to the image when you move it ?

    Oh and always check your screen shots before you post em .....
    I happen to notice quite a few ild files marked ANAL and ASS

    Now you dont want us getting the wrong impression do you sweetie

    hahaha dam, didnt notice that

    i think i know the problem, i dont have the cable with the pot in the moddle. im guessing that could solve a few problems???

    got it today, so excited haha

    ok its working much much better now, but still questions?

    am i expecting to much from the dt40, or is my dac really really poo.

    i dont know how well you can see this from the vid but, the speed on my dac is a number from 0-100. at 99 it still flickers but when on 100 it dont, but i feel i am over driving the galvos.

    how do i know if the dt40 are performing right and how do i know if im over driving them??

    another vid of me turning the speed up and down.

    do i turn the pot fully and turn the scan angle in the software down. or do i turn the post down and turn the scan angle in the software up???

    no idea???

    Dont turn the gain on full on the galvos. Half is ok, and you turn the gain up in the software you are using. Turn it on full, can overdrive the scanners.

    ah i see, ill turn the gain to half on the lead.

    so how do i know if im pushing the dt40 to much???
