Default New eye melty LSX laser show "Analog Carnival"

here's a little show i've been working on. this is set to the song "carnival underground" from the night breed soundtrack by danny elfman.

i wanted to capture the chaotic insanity and wonderment that the music and the scene in the film broadcast. i hope you enjoy it!

LSX, etherdream DAC, DT40W, and a single mode diode kit from DTR.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Awesome work, Swami! I really enjoy the subtle detail you put in your abstract shows, such as around :50 where you have black rings moving out over the grid. Just awesome!

    thanks steve!

i wish i had managed to finish it in time for the 21W projector we were working with, but it was still fun to share, even as a work in progress.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

love those transitions between effects, it adds to the "movie" feeling of the music
