Ok. Just in case here is Graphics Work Station. It predates Alpha Lite.

It runs on my Windows XP machine (32 bit).

Thanks for all of the files! Fantastic archive.

[QUOTE=Junktronix;296183]I have almost 100MB in my LaserIllusions folder. Not sure if any of it will be useful since I had a different board, but it's uploading to my dropbox now. Should be complete in half an hours or so (damned slow-ass DSL)

I have the DOS based laser software that is needed. It's on an old laptop. I'll see if I can get it posted.

I believe that this is the version that came with the card. The executable was Laser.exe Many thanks to everyone, what a pleasant surprise.

Building a DOS and XP machine for testing. Once complete, I'll share the results here. I may be dating myself, but the original PC requirements were a 286 with 512K and 3.5 inch - 1.44 Floppy drive .

Yes, the excutable is laser.exe. I also have the font creation program and also the ild converter.

I have it running on an old toshiba pentium laptop, running Win95. It seems to run okay. Keep in mind that the program has no emulation speed control so, it runs at whatever the clock speed of the processor is. If the processor is over 200MHz, you may have some problems controlling the scan speed.

I am still at work and will be home in a few hours. I will try and get the program when I get home. I may tinker with mine again. I miss it!

UnRAR the folder and run install.bat. It should install everything to C:\laser. After that, just run C:\laser\laser.exe and you should be set!

I have found that this runs in Win 3.1, Win95 and Win98. I have no idea about XP.

    Tested in Win98

LASER PC Lite Confirmed on a 486 machine under DOS, 3.1 and 98. On a Pentium 4 machine running XP, program starts but locks up after 15-20 seconds, could be the machine though.
The Laser Illusions software ran on the XP machine with no issues, but did not detect the card via the parallel port.

Just wanted to thank everyone once again. I'm back up and running and my son is amazed. Glad I kept this for so long.
