yesterday i ran it for 3h
now it was at 0.8w but i got the green line back and another red
adjusted the HR mirror and got the gold and another green line but power went down to ~400mW
and when checking the fill @ 30amps the meter was pointing at 39 (last time i ran the tube it was at 43)
i also tried it at 31 amps but then a sizzling noise started guessing it didn't get enough cooling for that power?
so i backed of rather quick
any suggestions about what's going on?
    btw it's a 070-2 tube

"Walk" both of the mirrors instead of just peaking the rear mirror. Instructions on the concept are in the Laser FAQ. Also play with your adjustable magnetic field. Amount of field contributes to the red/yellow balance, unless you have the optics that only support the 576 nm yellow. (568n yellowish line /647 red share the same upper atomic level, and mag field and pressure determines the lower level.) 530 nm Krypton line is also field sensitive.

Slight changes in tilt on mirrors that have 80 layers like that result in strong changes in spectrum.
