Default New version of QuickShow available (build 393)

    Hi all,

I wanted to let you know that there is a new version of QuickShow available for download. Easiest place to find it is here:
    http://www.pangolin.com/QS/downloadm...downloads.html

(If you're already a Pangolin client, be sure to download the retail version and not the demo version...)

There have been 16 updates since our last release in June. The improvements include:

    * Security settings dialog box, so you can secure your content and sell it to others
    * Improved support for targeted beams, insomuch as user-adjustable blanking periods
    * Improved DMX-related code for better support of the EntTec DMX devices
    * Added the ability to support many more picture formats, when loading pictures as a background in the drawing window
    * Russian version of the user interface (now more than 8 different user interface languages)
    * Added the ability to cut/copy/paste in the timeline
    * ... plus a whole lot more...

Give it a whirl and let us know what you think!

    Best regards,

    William Benner

Hi, just having a play with the timeline, would it be possible to select multiple events and cut copy paste in the usual ctl a, ctl x/c/v windows style? Also ctl z undo/redo and the other useful win shortcuts everyone is so used to ctl d = draw etc? Cheers Mickey

I tried to run the new version but my FB3 is in India and I'm in the UK. Is there a way I can run it without the FB3 being connected?

    Thanks

    LaserLips,

If ha been installed on your computer in the past, and you are merely doing a software update (instead of a brand new installation from scratch), then it should run fine. Otherwise you'll need FB3 hardware to essentially "activate" the software.
