Here is a picture of my 170 lb beamtable sitting on a pair of a slightly different style of those mounts 20 feet above the dance floor of a private corporate event. I was skeptical at first myself, but after seeing that my beams were still hitting the bounce mirrors on the far side of the venue after three days and nights in the rig, I'd say these are rock solid and stable PROVEN methods of mounting lasers that normally cannot be hung. When the lighting guys first told me that they wanted to hang my beamtable 20 feet above the dance floor I was against it, So they hung a 650lb cable trunk from a stick of truss in their shop with two of these and sat under it to eat lunch. I was sold and let them mount my beamtable with these ever since.
Man I like those. Any idea what they are called?
