Precision Projection Systems (PPS) UPD-8's, APRC's, and Card Cage
Selling the following laser show hardware, as is, no documentation, so please know what you are buying.
I have the following:
(QTY 2) UPD-8 Unipolar Driver Card (REV D)
"The Unipolar Driver Card contains eight identical unipolar TTL driver channels on a single plug-in circuit card. The card features fully opto-isolated inputs, a drive level adjustment and a test switch for each channel. Component values may be varied to provide an adjustable slope for driving mechanical actuating devices. The card may be used to drive solenoids, DC motors, or linear mechanical actuators such as General Scanning GM-20. The card may be adapted to input signal voltages from 5 to 50 volts"
(QTY 3) APRC Animation Processor Card (V5.22 OS EPROMS - no animation EPROMS installed)
"The Animation Processor Card is a microprocessor circuit card designed for development and display of scanned graphics and animation in stand-alone applications. The card features a high speed 32 bit microprocessor, support for 1 megabyte of program development RAM, and either 1 or 4 megabytes of display ERPOM memory. An 8 bit opto-isolated hardwire control input port, 8 separate 12 bit DAC output channels, and an RS-232 serial interface port are included. The APRC card fits in a standard Precision Projection card cage, and measures 4.5 inches high and 8.8 inches long."
(QTY 1) CCA-8 Card Cage Assembly
"The eight slot Card Cage Assembly incorporates the PPS 72 pin card edge socket. The assembly accepts power from a ten position screw terminal header, identical to the PSBD output terminal. The cage is used in conjunction with PPS driver boards and is easily wired using standard 16 conductor ribbon cable and crimp on connectors."
(misc) Cables
Miscellaneous connection cables that were kept with hardware. One (1) RS-232 serial interface cable for APRC's. Three (3) DAC output cables with DB-15 output connectors. Two (2) DB-15 actuator fan out cables. Or at least this is what I think these cables are.
This system is incomplete, is was taken out of a working system that was scrapped, and these parts have been in climate controlled storage.
For the right person these items have value, for a theme park, or other installations trying to keep existing PPS System running. I just don't know if any of those people are on this forum.
Please let me know if interested and you would like to make an offer.

I used a lot of PPS stuff back in the day - especially their fiber optic systems. If anyone buys this stuff I have the PPS power supply for the card rack and you're welcome to it.

These items have been put up on eBay.
