Hi, Can somebody tell me what the Ash McFadden design is that Steve mentions up above?
I looked on google and could not find anything, it is interesting that he
is the guy that built and/or ran the P4 analog laser console that Dave Z.
has now built to todays standards.

    Thanks!

R2 or R4 scan head, from LSDCO/ Ash McFadden. Note LEDEX shutter. This actually could/was be a whole projector legally, once upon a time. Will hold two G120, G124, G135 and do both axis. First one is single axis, where a front surface mirror replaces the second galvo for beam effects use. Galvo is open loop. All the parts are there to hold the second galvo.

Second one has two tested G120.

Four Channel G120 Amp. I purchased a air cooled Krypton a year ago and this was included by the Widow of its owner. With integral power supply. Character building piece of black wood optional. Thing in corner is a R4 Mount, not part of this item.

All I know is he paid 15K$ for the custom made 80 mW Krypton laser in 1990s dollars. This looks like an improved LM22SDA with a full differential position demodulator supported.

Looks like one of Selwyn's amps with the tell-tale omni150P heatsink.

    EDIT: Stadler's amp*

I actually didn't mean Selwyn, although, I still have some of his old stuff. I meant Stadler. Looks like one of Stadler's amps*. Gary Stadler's name should also ring a bell too
