I don't know that I would have the patience to set something like this up but this is pretty damn cool.

Obviously we are seeing a strobe-like stop action but it still looks pretty cool.

If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.
Bown? Yep, shutter effect in action.
This space for rent.
We used to do similar experiments in our A level physics class using a strobe light and a ticker tape machine actuating on a piece of rubber pipe.
In fact, looking back, we used to use ticker tape machines for all sorts of things in those classes!

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Yah, it's just the same 'interference-phenomenon' that brings us the physics-impossible (..well, *practically-speaking*..) 'laser-ribbons'..
..but, like you said, still Cool / fun vid-phenom.. I've always been a fan of the 'sonic-sculptures' with iron-powder, etc.. Don't remember where someone posted about that, but it was cool.. Oh, and those 'ferro-fluid' sculptures.. Rad-ass.. I *still* wanna get with one of those ferro-artists, and shoot some lumia off it..
