Hi All
Is anyone booked on or planning to book on the LV safety training course on 16th April. I have just recieved my confirmation of booking and it would be nice to know if anyone else from the group is going.

I'm (hopefully) doing a car share with someone from Loughborough, i'll let him chime in if he wants to reveal himself

We're staying over locally on the Sunday night so we can be there nice and fresh Monday morning. If you're staying over let me know and perhaps we can meet up for bite to eat and a drop of liquid refreshment !

Yeah same here on the Sunday travel - 'salong way from the north west (and wakefield). Dunno where Im staying yet - didnt wanna book it until I had confirmation. Anyway Im sure we can get together for a sherbet or 2. I will have my girlfriend with me - not on the training - I suspect she may shop
Will stay in touch over this and will see ya down there.

Booked on the course, and into the M2 Travel Lodge on the Sunday night.

I'm sure the rest of you guys who attended the course would like join me in saying a big thankyou to James and Julie Stewart for thier excellent laser safety training course.
Anyone who has considered it in the past should go and anyone who hasn't considered it, should.
The whole day was very informal - which made it nice and relaxed and the course was interesting and informative, James presented it well and was happy to go off at a tangent to discuss other laser show aspects - this happend a number of times.
Overall a good day and highly recomended. Appart from anything else it was good to be able to chat with like minded nerds .
Good to meet everyone - Andy, Jeremy, Simon, Chris & Chris.

I've been busy actually working this morning

I agree it was a good course and I personally gained lots of useful information from it. I also thoroughly enjoyed our get together on the Sunday evening.

Now then... where did I put that scientific calculator.

I hope all you other guys have done your homework too

Seriously though, it was brilliant to meet you all and I thank you all for imparting your knowledge to assist a newcomer to the 'projector' scene.

Thanks to James and Julie it was a great day. The course was very informative, thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

It was also great to meet you guys and like-minded loons to talk lasers non-stop but I'm feeling in need of another "fix" already... we need to get that UK laser meet sorted out
