You'll not be impressed by the quantity of haze it gives, and I find that laser beams appears brighter with haze from my Tour Hazer 2. But you won't find finer haze than with this MDG, perfect where it has to be perfectly invisible, eg TV shows etc

For Ion, the MDG "Atmospheres" is the cat's meow. from the 1990s to 2005 it was the hazer of choice for a decade and a half. Especially if you used MDGs monomolecular fluid. Built like a tank, professional temperature controller, little to go wrong. Turn it on it side and drive a car over it.(well sorta)
.
1800$ is a little steep when in 1990s dollars they were 3600$ new.
Droplet size can be set with the Co2 regulator, and it still is probably the machine on the market with the least odor. Co2 stops any burning. It uses a tank of co2, in a size canister that will be cheap as long as beer is sold. Beer dispensing is the main use for that size tank. Marc Gringas (designer) liked his beer.
Laserwizardry and I both grew up on them.

Great machines - i use them regularly in TV world and on live events. I have a similar machine ( Pea soup Phantom) which is basically the UK built version ( in production longer than the MDG and even finer haze ) and can confirm that nothing water based even gets close for even, fine haze that resists temperature layering etc.
