Damn dude...
You've got some nice metal working skills! I can't wait to see what your projector ends up looking like... Seriously - I'm envious as hell!

Hi,
I am getting ready to do the same thing I have found a 1/4-80 tap. The best part they are cheap!!
If you can go to a 1/4-60 you can get a tap and die.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
Go to www.Newport.com and search for mirror mount (as suggested newport make great kit), follow the links for each of the types, then click on the "drawing" button beside each - they give pretty much full working drawings for each of their products - <edit> Doh I didn't follow the thread to the end before posting that, nm, dichroics do pretty much work only at the angle they're specced at, normally 45 degrees, but also only within the band that they're specced for - it depends on how red "red" is, I have some 610 short pass dichroics that let a hell of a lot of 670 and upwards through - how tightly is yours specced? I saw some amazing stuff on ebay last week, the president of Omega is selling production overruns and slight seconds at crazy prices check out http://stores.ebay.co.uk/BJOMEJAG-EB...Q3amesstQQtZkm or search for BJOMEJAG as a seller, and maybe you can pick up some 3 dollar dichroics that perform as well as your (excellently crafted) 3 dollar mounts
