LED on the estop box is my guess.

Hmmm. why 3 lasorbs for blue-green?

Love the new flexmounts jobbies; are these accessible without removing the housing?

One of the lasorbs on the green/blue mounts is actually one for the last red diode. Note that there are 4 red diodes but only 3 lasorbs on top of them. 4th is ontop of the green/blue.

    Ah, gotcha; thanks!

I am starting to fixate on those flex mount thangs: what are they called and are they available anywhere?
I don't see them on the Lightspace site.
How do they work? Maybe top screw for tilt, back screw for lateral?

I guess I'll message them and try to find out.

Kinda sorta. I finally decided to do a tiny alignment tweak on one of mine this past Saturday morning and it didn't move quite as well as I expected. It was only off a hair and I was able to get it but, I'm not sure I'd always be that lucky. Be interesting to hear what they reply with. Personally I've never been a fan of these various brass mounts that require tiny Allen wrenches, a super light touch and decent close up vision. Give me a big ol' honkin' 25mm circular dichro in a mount with three thumb screws and I'm a much happier guy.

Amen to that; my first choice is always an MM-1 kinematic with a dichro or mirror pasted onto it.

But, as CDBeam has pointed out, my laser art usually involves 10 pounds of optics in a 5 pound bag.

I'll let the thread know what I find out from Lightspace - I have an email into their US office.

OK; here is what I heard from Melody at Lightspace:

    Hi Mike,

What quantity do you want for the mounts?
For the laser module, yes, we can sell it as OEM module.
We have more than 10pcs of the CNC equipment to help with all hardware production here for lasers.
    Thanks and best regards,

I am currently in no position to buy anything right now...BUT... this sounds like a good opportunity for a group buy, if someone wants to set this up.

    Any interest?

Hi all, I'm evaluating to buy Venus II 2700, I've some questions, may someone help me? Thanks!
    1) .ILD files could be contained to both SD and/or USB? There is a way to trig them on by DMX? How many .ild effects could be triggered?
    2) If USB is connected to PC, is it possible to see SD and place inside files?
    3) Venus 2 2700 is the only one capable of these functions? There are lower power lasers with SD support?
    4) Is it possible to reduce maximum intensity of beam in the control panel?

    Thank you!
