So in other words, 5W of RGBLUUUUUUUE. See, kids? This is why they put attenuators on the back of the projectors. So you can make your 5W blue monster a 3W white projector. I don't even know why I bother with these threads.

    Hi Mate

white balance would not be that important if you have potentiometer or know how to adjust the color balance by software.
people may need more powerful blue sometimes, also can be used as a 3w single blue, guess it is not bad.

1.5mrad with an un-corrected 3.5W blue diode is simply IMPOSSIBLE to obtain.

Or... maybe you gave the divergence in half-angle, giving 3mrad full angle ?

Can you send us picture of the "white" beam (all source 100% ON) at 20-25 meters please ?
Draw a square and take a picture.

    Thanks.

we did beam correction with double prism for the new 3.5w nichia diode, the original beam indeed fat.

just sent off the last two pcs, i am willing to do that once we have a new one on hand.
sure this is not perfect one for animation use considering the beam and divergence, should good enough for beam show.

Thanks for the explanation and picture, but you still don't give us the pictures asked for... We would like to see your projector powered ON, no fog, and a close picture of the WHITE beam (all 3x colors at 100% power) on a wall, at 20-25 meters of the projector.

Then... measure the beam size with a caliper.
