We'll see what Matt replies with. Might be able to find it in a recent Goldenstar price list unless he had these custom done. I like the color gain pots on the back. Hell... the cases alone are damn near worth the cost.

With the greatest respect, you'd have to be a long way away to be within MPE with 1.5-1.8 Watts (approximately 100 metres with 1.8 watts actual depending on the beam specs (I assumed 3mm + 1.5mrad)), and even then some cameras are so sensitive they can be damaged even by levels below MPE.

The only way to truly guarantee camera survival is to BAM it or film from outside the beams.

I am sure that has to be 1100 a piece. I cant imagine he got 2 projectors, 2 road cases and shipping for that price.

Nope. Confirmed $1,100 for the pair, including flight cases.

I'm in contact with Mimi at Goldenstar right now. Will update soon with further information. Thinking that my Pluto's need some companions!

I have looked at the GS pricelist, and for the 1500mW D-RGB with the 30K scanners, the USD1100,- at your doorstep, Flightcases incl are just about right.

The Flightcases used by Goldenstar, is well buildt and well worth the low price they charge. (But they smell really bad )

I have one D-RGB 2000, and can not understand why i got one of those instead of two of the 1500mW`s. Price is just about the same, and performance seems to almost the same according to djmatt`s reports.

Specs for the D-RGB 1500 analog modulated :

    R:300mw/638nm
    G:200mw/532nm
    B:1000mw/445nm,shenzhen

    R: 3.5*0.5mrad,4*2mm
    G:1.5mrad,3mm
    B:2mrad,4*2mm

For what its worth, I supplied one of the D range in the old style case to one of my clients and it was pretty horrible on the beams, particularly the red, which i believe was the Shenzen module in my case.
Basically, raw diodes with a collimator, no further correction.

On the flightcases, yes they're great. I've even had their flightcase company build me my moving head cases to my design over the last 18 months or so

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Huh??? Could you be more specific? Do they smell like glue/solvents/dumpster?

They smell of the glue used to stick the foam to the case, probably some sort of spray contact adhesive
