Default ALC68 Argon head & PSU for sale - UK

Air cooled Argon ALC68 (I think it's a 68? It was sold to me as an ALC80????) for sale.

All works OK but needs a bit of TLC to get it nice and sorted out. It didn't work when I got it but after an OC & HR clean and re-alignment it now lases. I have no idea of output as I haven't got a meter. The PSU is set to 18A tube current, well it reads 18A on the front meter but with a DC clamp meter it reads 12-14A??

    £250.00 - Buyer collects.
    Prefered Paypal payment.

This thing really brings back memories. It's exactly what we used on the 1977 Led Zeppelin tour to create a laser pyramid over Jimmy Page. A water cooled laser in the lighting truss was ruled out and the 68B was the only other high power option available. We had to beef up the stock laser system with bigger rectifiers and capacitors in the power supply and a huge blower for the head (noise was NOT a problem) and were able to achieve about 2 watts continuously. The color beams overhead were from a Coherent CR500K krypton. Good luck with the sale!
