I just now saw the pics of the "under the deck goodies" SOoooooo it looks like they installed the KTP controller under the deck...so can I assume they removed the big ass LSCP PCB in the big roll around thing with the lamp & q-switch driver? Show a pic of your "controller". I don't want the system...but a major selling point for this unit is that the big ass LSCP PCB has been removed and "dumb electronics" have replaced it

OK silly me, just went back and looked at all the pics closer...does this unit require "external" cooling water or is it totally air cooled? If totally aircolled...how big is the resivour?

this laser will work perfectly as a low duty cycle or idle then ramp for effects. Looks real good, but for a permanent installation I would use the external cooling...I think the two fans on the heat exchanger will dissipate about 2.2 KW, so it will take longer for the rise in water temp to affect the performance. I made an external heat exchanger with two of the fan systems and got 4.4KW cooling capacity...totally air cooled. (all based on ambient air temperature of course). It is a nice running laser in good condition. Someone is getting a nice package. I remember when Fred did this conversion...I don't think they bought it from me directly...it was probably a LFI transfer from me. 6 k is a fair price for this unit when compared to a smelly old Vag burner.
