Never used the eyedropper tool. Was more less hoping loading a BMP just colors the whole vector image as you draw it.

Oh, so that the stuff you draw is automatically the same color as the background image, pixel for pixel?
The eyedropper tool on the other hand, lets you manually clone a color from the background image, but that would make the objects you draw only that one single color, and you'd have to manually reselect the color if you draw over something which color changes over the course of the drawn object.
Sorry, it's a bit hard to explain properly I guess I can just add both those features!
@danielbriggs, thanks again! And keep the suggestions coming!
Got to play with it this morning. This is going to be good. In my clients lab so can't talk now...

So far, so good. I never seem to get more than a few minutes at a time to play with this but, I'm learning my way around it pretty quickly. I just wish I were a better artist! Kinda neat getting into something like this on the ground floor and learn it as it evolves and improves as well. I don't have that luxury with LSX or BEYOND as they're almost too complex right from the start and keep rapidly getting more and more advanced.
FYI. LaserBoy does look at the number of elements in a section header. It also looks for a character string of ILDA followed by three binary zeros.
One thing that LB does ignore is the frame number. Each section header is supposed to be numbered using a short integer. That puts a limit on the total number of frames in a file at 65536.
LaserBoy will number (and renumber) frame section headers, but does not in any way limit the total number of frames it can write or read to an ILDA file.
Frames are already in natural order in the file so they really don't need to be numbered.
It's nice to see that my program is being used as a reference standard.
That was one of the reasons why I was so meticulous about writing it the way it is.
James.

Sorry I couldn't get all suggestion so far into this release, but I've added a bunch of other cool stuff:
Position displacement (movement) animation
Different animation modes such as sine, bounce, damped, etc
Automatic update checker
Tools for copying/cloning colors
Curve points out of range bug fix
Press 0 to jump to first frame
Some performance improvements
Other minor stuff
Here's an example ilda file using the two new features in bold (the gif is a bit choppy, download the actual ilda file to preview it properly):

Gitle,
After installing V0.9.4 it crashes on launch - doesn't even render the main window (WinXP 32-bit); I'm not sure why...

Dan
