I'm a very happy user of Dave's drivers (I'm not actually sure how many currently!) and can attest to them being very resilient despite me trying to short circuit them with the DPSS TEC drive due to a pinched wire on the baseplate. Made a lot of smoke a number of times (turn it off and on again a few times didn't actually fix it...) and they still continued to run.

..For if / when you come back to this thread.. What's your 'majority-application'? Mostly-graphics? Or, Aerials / Beams? If you say '50/50', well.. how 'mission-critical' are the Graphics? (ie: Corp-Logos, etc, vs 'just-whatever-shizz-comes-with-QS', etc? ..I can give some thoughts on that, re: 520 vs 532, and the 462s...
