    Thumbs up

That was kind neat... Wonder why they didn't use full color... I thought at the end it was going to be Big Bill who came out after "dancing"...

that was awesome ....these videos show how far most of us :-) have got to go ! .the text and overall quality of flicker free animation seemed just awesome .if i was going to criticise , it could have been brighter and in colour !.

Andy i am kinda guessing those dancing frames were custom made and likely cost many thousands of dollars in creation although most of the other frames look pretty standard .........

Asa regards the scanners , again since a proffesional show likely cambridge of some type , expensive but if you are getting paid corporate type fees then it doesnt seems so bad ! ......... get DTpros andy and i would say just about 95% of what you see there is possible .the only huge issue would be over the text , all those square corners are bugger for most scanners IMHO

Anyway cruch awesome ! frigging awesome

Were you guys really impressed? I thought it was pretty average. Doesn't seem like the dancing would be hard to do. Just film a guy's sillouette while he dances and then let computer software do all the batch tracing and frame creation. I watched it without sound. Maybe it seems cooler with sound.

I guess they where using somekind of lasershow video tracing.
Like pangolin Lasershow Video - VST techniques..

    Quote from pangolin:
    Outlining and raster
There are two ways to use Lasershow Video - VST: vector outlining and raster video. Both techniques work with standard laser projectors (e.g., ILDA 30K or faster scanners, with PCAOM color).
For both outlining and video, you can project live from a camera or VCR video input, or you can save a sequence as a set of frames. These frames can later be used in an LD show.

    This I must try

It looks pretty average to me as well. The dancing can be done very easy with Pangolins VST.
