    Hey guys. Thanks for the info.

    If it helps, heres a photo of the optical deck. Up top of the photo near the lefthand side of the lamp/rod cavity, you should be able to see the KTP heater. http://imgur.com/5xVUYwl

    I'd love to have the whole unit.
    If its within 4-5 Hours of Akron, Ohio.... I'd come get it. I know people in OR, AZ, NY who would like to have parts or the whole unit.
    Please PM me if you do not wish to reply in the forum.

    This is world wide forum, location matters in terms of shipping etc..

    My best friend needs a working ALE PSU, badly. Hence the interest.

    Hey guys. Just an update here.

    I have stripped most of the critical components off this laser (With extreme care) and brought them to my current residence. The entire optical deck is a little crusty looking but I assure you that all of the critical optics I pulled are in nothing short of pristine shape. Not a single damaged/scratched optic!

    Currently I have several pending items listed below.

    * Q-Switch driver - Sold (Pending payment)
    * Low voltage supply - Sold (Pending payment)
    * One relay *Unsure of details at this time* - (Pending payment)
    * Radiator - (Pending)
    * Water pump - (Pending)
    * ALE PSU - (On hold until further notice)
    * Lamp/Rod/Cavity assembly - (On hold until further notice)

    Everything else is still available at this time.

    @mixedgas I'll be sending you a PM about the ALE supply as I believe I do still owe you for the Dr.Sam's Omnichrome PSU.

    Thanks everyone! I'll keep you posted

    Jeff,
    I'd very much like to buy the cavity. This happened to me today:

    As a bare min: YAG rod, glass flow tube for the rod and two gold lamp clips, but will happily buy the whole gold cavity asmb. with or without the lamp installed.

    Please PM me a price; funds at the ready.

    Best Regards,
    Dan

    Hey Dan,

    Wow, what a mess you have there! The cavity I have here is different. I'm not entirely sure if it makes a difference but I have the Ceramic cavity. Heres an album I found. Somehow the album name is Omnichrome? Let me know if this works for you.

    Thanks Jeff for the photos.
    Unfortunately I need the older gold reflector cavity parts. Thanks anyway; best of luck with your sale.
    Dan

    Edit: @Pat: Is there a trick to remove the rod from the metal tubes?

    <butt-in>: *psst: ya Unscrew the 'collar'....(the things that look like they have 'teeth', on the rod-side of the holder-tubes..) Yes, they're a real-biotch to undo / redo, w/o snapping the (new) rod, and, iirc, the o-rings inside are one-of-a-kind... +_+ Pass it on! <butt-out>
