Default So...anyone seen the new Pangolin-associated product mentioned at SELEM 2014 yet?

Been looking at Home Depot and like stores...looking for any new laser toys...
Anybody know what the new one is and have possibly seen it on shelves?
    Review? Price? Hackability?

I haven't. But I will guess it will be soon. I am guessing it is a small laser that shines santa clause graphics or something similar.

I'm fairly sure that Bill said it wasn't a related industry poduct in a post on the forum.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I'm not certain about that though, because he said it would have the 506's and PASS in it. Plus I think something else. I don't know why PASS would be in something that wasn't industry related. I'll have to go back and watch the video again to see exactly what he said was in it.

Couldn't be the kvant discoscan projector could it?

They posted something on their FB about an hour ago about a revolutionary new way of scanning the whole room. It appeared to be the discoscan attached to the front of the projector as seen on the Kvant. So I wonder if they are promoting the Kvant as a new type of projector complete with built in FB4, PASS, 506's.

no. what bill talked about at selem was a very low end (cheap) consumer projector that would be available at retail stores. it sounded all the world like a cheap holiday widget for projecting tacky things on your house for the holidays.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Ah...yessss...very cheap...but very hackable were the words I recall.
A tacky projector on the outside...a Tardis on the inside...perhaps?
