Paul, if this is the Icron branded version of the Startech USB2004EXT, then they can be had for ~£260 in the UK.
I had a few USB2004EXT to sell, new in box and managed to get ~£180 I seem to recall, but I wasn't inundated with offers.
I had to turn down someone recently, so I'll PM you his details in case he's still looking and you can do a deal.

if this is the Icron branded version of the Startech USB2004EXT
It's actually the other way round, Icron is the OEM (and SOC manufacture) and Startech rebrand them as everything else they sell

    Humphry,

Sorry I have to agree with Lasermad here this would seem to be threadkacking at it's most impolite. After all if you were selling something in the street, how would you feel if someone came up to you, pretended to be your friend and then began to sell the same thing, right next to you, in competition and on your sale table, set up by you and using the advertising you had placed around the place? It's just not polite.

The only time it would be acceptable would be if Lasermad had declared he had sold his unit - then you can 'help out' anyone else looking for one, but at this point, you're essentially sniping his prospective buyers.

P.S. did you get the PMs? I've never used the 'forward' functionality before.
