I used to live not very far from a http://metalsupermarkets.com location, while clicking around on their website I was amazed, you can have practically any type of whatever you want, cut to size for you to pick up. The company was getting setup and around the time they were ready to take orders I had already moved to another state,

I've always used 6061 aluminum. Is 5052 better for this application? I'm not sure of the difference, to be honest.
I've been using www.onlinemetals.com for the past few years. At a glance, their prices beat Amazon (before shipping at least) and they have a large selection of metals and plastics.

I believe 6061 might be better. I forget .. Thanks for the other links guys. It's always good to have lots of options when buying the beginnings of a new projector
