Default RF excited CO2 laser setup

    Hi Neil,

Without actually seeing exactly what you're talking about it's hard to say. It sounds like you're on the right track since you don't want to solder wires directly to the contacts on the tube and risk breaking the seal on the RF excited CO2 tube. I suggest you bounce it off the people at Google "Alt-Lasers" dicussion group to get some proffessional opinions as I've never worked with RF based CO2 lasers but limited to pulsed TEA CO2 Industrial ones.

    Ok Rick, thanks.

BTW, this isn't an RF excited laser. It's excited by DC, just like a HeNe, but the voltage and current are higher.
