    Question Cheap analog driver??

Okay, I try to live by "you get what you pay for". I saw this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Analogue-RGB...item20e480cd47 on fleabay and thought I would ask if anyone has tried one of these. I want to replace my flexmods with different drivers because I am not too happy with the way the beam supression works. I doubt very much that these have beam supression but for this price, I am curious if these are even worth playing around with.

Looks interesting. But there are headers for RGB modulation but only headers for red and blue diodes. What about connecting a green diode?

I just sent the seller a message asking about this, beam suppression and what the header labeled "G100F" is used for.

I'll post any response I get.

I see all three headers. GM RM and BM inputs are there. It's the green laser output that is not apparent. It's there, though. If you zoom in on the second pic, you can see +G- on the 6-pin header next to the red. I have to say, I think it's cool that they put outputs for cooling fans too.

Adjustable output current you say? That would be a perfect combo with DTR's RGB diode bundle now, wouldnt it?

@absolom, did you order one, if yes, will you let us know how it performs, as soon as you get it?
Anyone else have had experience with this? What about the modulation? There is nothing in the description.

I was wondering the same thing unless this is 0mA @ 0V modulation, which would suck. Still, even if it were, it would be cheap to modify it. $24 with free shipping, I might get one to play around with. If it is no good for high speed projector modulation, this might prove to be a very cheap route for my lumia.

I went ahead and ordered one. Cheap enough to play around with. I have a feeling it will probably not be much good for anything besides rudimentary analog modulation or maybe just a TTL driver. At that point, I would probably just use it as a constant current driver for testing. I'll let you guys know what I find.

I switched out all my flexmods for daves drivers, problems solved!
Easy to setup, and. They just work.
