For those than may not know, our own beloved swamidog, has received even more reinforcement of his artistic mastery with LSX by sweeping the abstract category at the International Laser Display Association's conference in Las Vegas. I'm sure he'll post details as I can't see the show names on the trophies too well in the picture. "Cotton Eyed Joe" took second place though.

Tim Walsh got a lifetime achievement award. Pangolin got their new scanners awarded.

I got to see him awarded in person! Furthermore, I had the honor of sitting between Chris and Mike Dunn (who bagged another three of his own awards by the way) at the awards dinner last night. Talk about a thrill!

People like Chris and Mike are an inspiration to amateurs like myself and direct evidence that you don't need to work for a large show company to be recognized for photon awesomeness.

I can't wait to see what Chris achieves over the coming years!
