It's time to learn Linux y'all!

I mean you're only like 30 years late to the party, but that's ok!

It's way stupid simple these days.

Get a nice USB drive of any size 64GB or more.

Copy the Knoppix iso onto it.

    Boot from it.

    Enjoy!

    Learn.

Install Ubuntu or Debian on a real hard drive.

    Live happily ever after.
Already got Win 11 on my laptop- the Start button is now a little more to the right and the furniture has been rearranged a bit.
    Doesn't look like there's a 32 bit version...

You forgot to mention that you have also installed Ubuntu and you are pretty well through learning C and getting ready to move on to C++.

All software has a learning curve usually proportional to its capabilities and unique features. Pointing with a mouse is in no way easier than tapping a key.

    Finally!

A new full public release of LaserBoy!!!

    https://laserboy.org/code/LaserBoy_Current.zip

I cleaned up everything. If you already have an installation folder of LaserBoy, I would recommend renaming it as old and unzipping this in its place. Then move your files from the old folder(s) to this new one.

    For Windows users:
The zip no longer contains a 32-bit version.

    LaserBoy.exe is now a 64-bit application.

Please let me know if you find any problems or have questions.

    James.

    Yet another new version!

    08/20/2021

    https://laserboy.org/code/LaserBoy_Current.zip

Fixed up a lot of menu stuff.

The alt menu (t) idea is now more consistent through the four menus that use it.

Menu c for coloring a frame or the frame_set now has parameters for cycling
through the palette or the 1530 pure hues through the frames,
starting each next frame at a progressively shifted index in the array of colors.

Let me know if there are any issues or questions.

Can you get to facebook.com right now?

    Edit:

Yep. Apparently all Facebook owned services are down.

Even services that use fb id login are inaccessible.

Perhaps this will bolster the value and importance of independent forums like this one.

They probably forgot to pay godaddy to update their dns service.

    Oops.

Maybe they should unplug their modem for a few minutes.
