Default ECCS LSRKNOB, Knob Box & LSRFX Effects Control Board

ECCS LSRKNOB - Laser Signal Knob Box & LSRFX - Rev. 0 Laser Effects Control Board

I have acquired some 19" rack laser control boxes made by East Coast Control Systems and am in seek of any info anyone might have on these.
I have googled for images or info and the only thing I can find is on the company website where they call it a Laser Knob Box.

The only thing they say about it is this:

"One ECCS Laser Knob Box to provide electronics for the following:

    a) User controls allow the image size and location to be adjusted for particular show or venue requirements.
    b) Signal Processing circuitry provides for the correct playback of show material created for older display systems. (A unique ECCS feature!).
    c) Automatic shuttering circuitry eliminates stray light between laser segments. (Another exclusive ECCS feature).
    d) Master Reset circuitry to meet CDRH requirements.

Inside this, on the pcb there is a large jumper area for setting up 8 colors, who would ever think we could use that many?
It has DB25s for the ADAT input and the "Pangolin" input, does anyone even know if this -Pangolin- connector is following the levels and wiring as todays ILDA?

There is also a D25 on the PCAOM outputs and for a Remote, the Scan heads would connect to a D9 connector, again - even though this is not a D25, would it still yet have the ILDA signal levels?

ECCS LSRFX - Rev. 0 Laser Effects Control Board

The 2nd box has this printed on its PCB:
"LSRFX - Rev. 0 Laser Effects Control Board"

It has controls for lumia and for a turret and possibly for a beam table.

I would rather cross my fingers and hope that somebody shares their knowledge or files they have on these Old School toys than trace the wiring on these myself.

That is probably wired for QM32. Have you emailed ECCS, he's a nice guy? The only other two of those I know of are in Tennessee and Dayton, Ohio.

Some times they had added functions to drive a few actuators, a GM20 master shutter, and an effects wheel. The effects wheel turret has two motors, one stepper for indexing and another to rotate the 4 wheels plus blank space. It has a bit of logic to index the wheel on command. Other then that, they are pretty much a breakout box with gain and offset.

I emailed them about this back on Dec 30th
I gave them a call last monday jan 12, he first asks if I was the person that had emailed him and I said yes! then he said he did have the manual somewhere and would dig for it and get it over to me, I asked what the DB25 Pangolin port consisted of and he said it connects to the Quadmod32, same signals (for the most part), except different cables/wiring..
    I hope he comes through!!!!!

some research shows me that laser fantasy also had named their box a 'knob box'

    Thanks for the thoughts guys!

I have one of these, I'm pretty sure it's wired for the QM2K. I've never really checked but it came from a system that used a QM2K. There may be a couple different models though. I can take a look in the next day or two. Not sure that it'd be very useful for anything though, mine has been on the shelf for a couple years now.

The two I've serviced were wired QM32. One in Tennessee and one in Dayton, both still in use.
The one was unique in having 10V color signals. When adapting it to solid state I had to add a Zener clipper to protect the DPSS.
