    Default Old Soviet CO2 Laser

This is the first CO2 laser I've received from the former USSR, and it's wonderful. The 1990 model LG-74 features an interesting tube inside a very light weight head. The water jacket around the bore is itself surrounded by the gas ballast tube, which is also the resonator. The power supply is so heavy that two transformers had to be removed to make the maximum weight limits of the shipper. I'll have to do a little digging to get more specifications, but in the meantime, check it out!

Germanium Brewster window on one end so polarized, linear supply with tube rectifier! Cool laser.
