In my experience, P73: a bit less divergence
Oclaro 700mw: a bit less wings. Both diodes can be drived the same.
Having worked with both I prefer P73, due wings can be masked out. Be carefull, its open can diode.

I use the M462 since it appeared. Before that it was the 1.4W 9mm
