Hi Song
Can you confirm if the power figures quoted are at the aperture of the module, or based on the total power of the diodes used? E.g. 3x 1W 520 diodes = 3W
There was a thread recently where a module listed as 3W was only making 2.4W or something because it didn't account for losses in the combining and correction optics.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
637nm Red at the window 2.5~2.7W.
520nm Green at the window 2.8~3.0W.
445nm Blue at the window 5.5~6W.
The module are 3/3/6W level.
Some ealier 12W RGB sold on 2014, the power should be higer, but the beam is not as good as the power lower one.
Changing the lence will change the power on the output of the module, the lower one get more beatiful beam.

yup, this is probably going to be a 10 watt unit, based on previous experience with these units...
still a good buy though....

Song, some advice if I may.
If I buy a 12W projector from you and find any of the powers to be making less than what is coming out of the front of the module, I'd be sending it back as under powered. This is NOT the correct way to be rating your projectors. Rate them at what power they actually make and the customer will have much more confidence in your product and company.
As it stands, without this thread revealing what they really make, you set yourself up for every customer to have a legitimate complaint about your underpowered projectors.

I have other something to say about the power.
Some customers don't care about beam spec, and we can make it into 12W, (at the window).
Some customers care about the beam spec, and we can change to another lence, the cost is lost some power.
We now recommend customer to the second one, though the power is lower, but it look more beautiful.

Yes, there will always be trade offs, but in my optionion you should be stating all of the specs all of the time.
E.g. power at aperture, beam diameter, and divergence.
If someone sees that you have 2 options, one at 2.5W, 4mm diameter and 1mrad, and another at 3W, 3.5mm diameter and 1.5mrad it should be up to them to determine what is best for their needs.
If they're buying 12W of laser projector they should have a reasonable grasp on what the numbers mean.

What Will Be THE privé for this 10W laserprojector?
