Default How to write your first Laser beamshow (not just beginners)

Hey everyone, I made a video series on youtube about writing laser beamshows for beginners, and intermediates.

There is a bit of useful information in there (I think ) that can be useful for people who are new to writing shows.

The tutorial is based in beyond however I don't use anything that is beyond specific and try and be as broad with my explanations as possible, and give suggestions on how to do things in other software.

I made the series a little while ago, had a couple people watch it and they thought it was good so I decided to post it here so its easier for people to find!

    Here is the series:

Nicely done. I watched about an hours worth this morning so far. One of the best online tutorials I've seen - on any subject.

Wow, Gabe, thanks! I've been wanting to jump into show creation, but have absolutely no idea where to start.

I really liked the video you just posted with 51 projectors and was thinking "this guy is nuts!!" even though I didn't really understand most of the things you were doing in Beyond. Still, it was an interesting learning experience.

I haven't seen any of your beam tutorial videos yet, but I'm going to be absorbing them all this week. Looking forward to it.
