    NICE!!! That green beam looks wide compared to the others... IS that 2 lasevers and "2" maxyzmods?

    Yes the green is wide. I am not very happy with the lasever green. It is not up to the specs they publish. I may have to do some work to the optics to get a better beam. The blue and the green are Lasever.

    astroguy: have you tried adjusting the focus of the green ?

    Also, we find that it isn't so important how close the beams match up in the near field as it is in the far field - our red is bigger than the green and blue.. we just tweak our lasever green adn blue focus so that at 20 metres or so out, the beams are exactly the same size...

    I messed with it a little yesterday but ran out of time. I will work with it a little more tonight. The far field is not bad but the beem is so fat in the projector that it is spilling over the galvo mirrors as you can see in the picture.

    Good looking setup Fred! Any chance of getting a photo of the ILDA test pattern? I'm curious about something.

    As soon as I get a chance. I did get the green focused and everything looks good. now I need to upgrade the blue to 200 - 300mw and I am done!!! Well maybe some Cambridge scanners.
