My Elephant. Laser Transmmision Hologram I made.

Just though I would post a picture of a laser transmission hologram I made yesterday. I think it turned out quite ok

Very nice! What size is this plate? Did you by chance use a recently acquired 315m-100 laser to make this Hologram.?

Hi Brian,

yes, that's the 315m-100 I bought from you and it's awesome. You can't tell from the photo but in the original if you look over the elephants right ear you can see to the furthest optic on the back of the table. The coherence length and beam quality are excellent and I'm very happy with the laser. The plate is a 2.5" x 2.5". I'm looking for some more optics at the moment so I can start making image plane holograms.

That looks great Grayham. Transmission holograms are best when the image is deeeeeeeeep.

I know what you mean. I find looking at a transmission is like looking through a window and to what's on the other side. I'm definitely going to make a few with some serious depth and interesting scapes.
