TRADE\BUYING I need some old DT-40 galvos (or other)

Hi

I just built my 2x 1W blue single scanners.
But I was so unlucky to take out the cable on one of my DT40 Galvo, so it`s DEAD.

I want to replace it, or maybe buy a cheap set of DT40 galvos ?


If anyone is interested in trade, I have some dichro for an RGB setup, I got a Green (300mW ?) CNI laser
Also got PayPal, but I want to build this lasers cheap


If I not manage to get them complete, I consider to sell 2 sets of 1W blue (made by me) lasers including 2x diode, 2xDriver Dr_lava, 2x DT40 (obvious one of the galvo is dead DOH)

oh sorry, but the galvo was running when I unplugged the cable, so the galvo did spin some RPM before it went silent yep it`s pretty dead now.

Maybe I should just get another set of dt40 and buy 1 aluminium boxes.
I will get under 800$ anyway.

I know .. but DT PRO is overkill (and pricey) to have for this simple stand alone...

And I also want 2 pair with the same scanners, more easy to link toghether.

But I will see if crunhc will eventually sell them for a good price

I have a few sets of just DT30 galvos here that I've used the amps for 506's.
They use the DT40 amp for the 30s and the 40s

If you want a set of DT30 galvos in a block for not much money drop me a PM

You'll just need to retune them.

I did the same mistake on some cheam china galvos also. The Galvo made some unhealthy sounds and died. Did some investigating, and found out the shaft and mirrir was stuck. Since it probably already was fubar, i decided to use some force and tried to loosen the shaft and put it back in the original position. And guess what it got loose, and worked perfectly after that.

Check if the shaft and mirror actually can be moved with the tip of something. If it is stuck, you have more or less nothing trying to loosening it.

Just a friendly tip.
