A Rare Pulsed Xenon Ion Laser

We don't hear to much about this ion laser, making it irresistible to me for the collection. Made by Pacific Laser Corporation in 1989, it's their model 1100 pulsed Xenon laser head. Only thing I know about them is an output of 535nm, and that they were apparently used for some trimming applications. The label says 500W, 0.5usec pulse width. This one is very clean laser (especially now), and looks to be gas intact. It goes cover-off!

If the fill pressure is less then say 50 microns, she'll go. Looks like a similar design to the Britt Medical Pulsed Argon.
